The Netherlands Institute for Sport and Physical Activity (NISB) is a knowledge and innovation institute. Its mission is to promote sport and physical activities and to contribute to health, participation and well-being by encouraging an active lifestyle. NISB works with a range of different partners to develop and implement effective and efficient interventions

Pictures of Olga and Duco, known from dutch television "Nederland in Beweging', a program to encourage people to excercise, with 150.000 viewers a day and an approval rating of 7,8. Pictures of people doing the excercises. Since 2003 the number of people who excercise sufficiently rose from 47 to 60%. The NISB '30 minutes a day' campaign is used in local communities. 7 million Dutch people know about the campaign. Pictures of Isra Worst, living in Arnhem, 3 years old. He gives lessons at the sport center. There is little participation in sport by youth from immigrants cultures. NISB's 'Meedoen' program promotes participation and assimilation into the community. Geoffry introduced Trickz in Holland. Pictures of him doing Trickz and training youth in it, a kind of acrobatic gymnastics. The city of Arnhem and KNGU support his project. Meedoen draws cooperation from 11 cities and 9 organizations. It attracts 12.000 new members; half of it is from immigrant culture. NISB motivates people to excercise. [end of film]
